Madlib compartilhou uma nova colaboração com Four Tet, “Road of the Lonely Ones”, antes do lançamento de seu próximo álbum Sound Ancestors. A faixa de baixo pesado é construída em torno de harmonias emocionantes, juntando um suave lick de guitarra com um loop de bateria empoeirado.
Four Tet foi ao Instagram no domingo para anunciar o próximo álbum, dizendo que “teve a idéia de que seria ótimo ouvir algumas dessas idéias transformadas em um álbum solo de Madlib. Não feito em batidas para os vocalistas usarem, mas em vez disso arranjado em faixas que podem fluir todas juntas em um álbum projetado para ser ouvido do início ao fim. “
O projeto ainda está sem data definida, mas segundo os sites especializados americanos deve sair em Janeiro de 2021.
